Lyrics to 28 carols and a table of contents (p. 1). Manuscript musical notation for some carols, presumably in the hand of Davies Gilbert, was written on the interleaved pages, ca. 1824. Second table of contents (p. [1-2]) for the three manuscripts that make up this volume lists carols alphabetically, showing where they appear in each manuscript, where they appear in Gilbert's Some ancient Christmas carols (1822), and whether they have musical notation in either the manuscript or Gilbert Davies' printed work.
